HOW TO FIND US: Wandlebury Park, Gog Magog Hills, Babraham, Cambridge CB22 3AE. From the car park, follow the main path for a few hundred yards. It’ll take you up a hillock. On the other side of the hillock, when walking down the slope, look right – across the grassy field. You will, hopefully, see a crowd! This is where the stationary barbecues are – very easy to find!

PLEASE BRING: food and drink (hot or cold, soft or alcoholic) to share, including something “barbecuable”. Also please bring footballs, volleyballs, frisbees, badmintons, skipping ropes, guitars and other musical instruments. Come and relax in the open air, sing, jump, play, and have a great a time!

DIRECTIONS FOR DRIVERS: Wandlebury Country Park issue signposted with brown Country Park signs off the A1307 Cambridge to Haverhill Road, 2.5 miles south of the Addenbrooke’s Hospital roundabout.

PARKING: Visitors’ car park at the Main Entrance off the A1307. There is a parking charge so you might like to share cars.

BUS: Stagecoach Gold Number 13 to Haverhill (on Sundays) — just under 20 minutes from Drummer Street (Cambridge). Departs at 20 minutes past each hour, but please double-check this before aiming for a particular bus.

BICYCLE (25 min from Cambridge City Centre): There is a separate, safe cycle path alongside the A1307 Hills Road, leaving Cambridge, from Addenbrookes Hospital past the Babraham Park & Ride to Wandlebury where it ends. There is no cycle path from Haverhill to Wandlebury. NB No cycling in the park is allowed, except for under 8s.

DOGS: need to be kept on a lead in the Park, but can be freely exercised in the adjacent Gog Magog Trust area.
