The Job:
We are looking for a Mathematician to join our company based in Waterbeach, Cambridge. Our software product PIPENET is a world leader, renowned for its numerical robustness. You will be joining the development team of a software product for engineering applications.
This role will suit an outstanding mathematician who has an aptitude for numerical analysis and mathematical modelling. Experience with numerical solution of systems of PDEs, ODEs and algebraic equations would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have:
- A natural aptitude for mathematics, numerical analysis and their applications.
- Software development experience.
- An outstanding degree in mathematics, preferably to postgraduate level.
This role will appeal to an individual who loves the creativity involved in developing numerical methods and implementing them in a software product, in an environment in which self-discipline, planning and specification are paramount.
