An evening of amazing British-Russian family stories: romantic, happy and also tragic and powerful memories of war and cold war, passion and love, – found and lost, – devotion and despair, patience, courage and endurance of family members reunited.
Come and listen to our guests’ incredible and moving memoirs, get inspired by the intertwining of the past and present, plunge into old photos, and share your own stories if you wish, in a calm and warm atmosphere, with a glass of wine, in a circle of friendly and understanding, like-minded people.
Wine, juice and nibbles.
Donations are welcome to “Help for Heroes”, a British charity that provides support to war veterans, in particular those who were injured in current wars and suffered life-changing consequences, as well as their families.
How to get there: follow the signs “to Andrew Room” from Sidney Sussex Porters’ Lodge through the Chapel Court to South Court, up stone stairs, and over the passage (bridge) to Sussex House (see map here).
Parking: Park Street car park
