Old New Year Celebration

You are cordially invited to join us for the traditional celebration of the Old New Year on Saturday, 14th January from 5pm till 11pm at St Paul’s Centre, Hills Rd, Cambridge!

A variety programme “Blue Light” with singers, musicians, dancers, and, of course, a Russian-speaking Grandfather Frost with his granddaughter the Snowmaiden.

Raffle, quiz, entertainment for children – games, arts & crafts, and face-painting, all culminating with an energising disco for all ages!

Please bring your own festive food and drink to share. There will also be an opportunity to buy traditional Russian dumplings (pel’meni), kvas, cakes and salads. To add to the food, there will be stalls with Russian souvenirs and gifts – shawls, toys, books and beauty products.

Disco: Later in the evening, DJ Alexey will take us on a musical a journey through the  80s, 90s and the contemporary songs!

Rusfond, a charity raising funds for sick children, will be one of the guests at this festival.

Entrance: CamRuSS members & their families (with food) FREE; CamRuSS members (no food) £5; their families (no food) £10.
Others (with food) £5 per person; others (no food) £10 per person; families (with food) £10; families (no food) £15.
After 8pm – just to attend the disco: £5 per person.
(A family comprises at most two adults and two children under 14 y.o.)
