A new Russian Shop has opened in Cambridge. It is small, but full of delicious food, and the owner, Gera, has big plans for the future.
In a neighbouring cafe you can taste Ukrainian, Polish or Lithuanian beer, relax, and may even meet your fellow Russians.
It is located near the Grafton Centre, in Cobbles Yard, off Napier Street: map . If you enter the Grafton Centre from Fitzroy Street, go to the other end (where the escalators are, that take you up to the cinema). Ignore the escalators, go past the Virgin Store, and then turn left into a little a corridor that will lead you outside. Turn right, go past the Barbers and the Post Office, and just around the corner you will see a little shop with a sign saying "магазин" (SHOP) in various languages (Russian, Lithuanian, Polish, etc.)
Another way is from Newmarket Rd; turn into Napier Street, and then left into Cobbles Yard.
