Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – One day Art Exhibition in Cambridge

Friday 17 June, 14:00 - 21:00

“My Jubilee Stamp” by Svetlana Baibekova, 2022

One day Art Exhibition – Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – Call for entries

The Cambridge Russian-Speaking Society is organising an art exhibition celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The exhibition is dedicated to Her Majesty’s historic reign and service to the world, the country and its people over a period of seventy years.

We invite local artists to creatively reflect on Queen Elizabeth’s long and eventful life and  her place in world history, as a monarch who met and worked alongside so many prominent people of the 20th and 21st centuries. Be inspired by her role as a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Let history, nature, humour, art, myths and legends of the royal family inspire and guide you on this journey.

This event is being put on with support of the Cambridge City Council Community Grants.

Proceeds from selling the artworks will be split equally between the artists and the organiser, 50% of the revenue will go to CamRuSS Hardship Support Fund – established to help Ukrainian refugees and their host families in Cambridgeshire.
